Derek R. Knauss

Construction Manager

Derek partnered with Congress Group as the on-site owner representative for the Four Seasons Nashville project in 2020. Prior to that he worked for several large commercial general contractors in operations and project director roles. Derek started his 40-year career as a Professional Engineer in structures before moving to the construction side of the business. His experience with managing large and high-profile projects such as the Monsanto World Headquarters, Orange County Convention Center, and multiple Native American casinos enables him to keenly assess and monitor construction projects from a contractor’s perspective. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering and lives in Nashville.
